Founded in 2023, The Inked Home focuses on creating lasting memories for home owners - capturing the details and heart of the home in every piece. The Inked home also takes great pride in preserving architectural history through fine line art, as seen in the Historic Townsville collection. With a background in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Renovation and experience as a Real Estate Agent, I take great pride and care to ensure every piece I create is a one-off treasure. 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hi! I’m Taylor… Queenslander lover, cat lady and the owner/artist at The Inked Home, a small business specialising in hand-drawn house portraits and historic buildings based in Townsville, North Queensland. 

I started off sketching homes just for fun while I was working as a property stylist in 2021. I always had a love of all things design and architecture, especially historic homes and buildings. All it took was for a close friend to eventually see my sketches and say “You should be selling these”, for me to get my bum into action and start my very own business doing what I love! Now I get to draw places that people love for people all over Australia.
